Local Land & Lumber was established as a way for me, J.R. Hall, to transition away from the extensive travel required by larger dirt work companies. After spending over a decade working on dirt projects across the country, I made the decision to return home in anticipation of the arrival of our second child. This decision was driven by a desire to focus on family while continuing to pursue my passion for high-quality land and construction work.
